Product use

Dabco 8154 is an acid-contained tertiary amine catalyst, which is mainly used to promote the reaction of urethane (polyol-isocyanate) with delayed reaction initiation;

Dabco 8154 is mainly used in polyurethane molded foams to prolong the emulsion time, improve fluidity and increase the processing efficiency of the foam.

Dabco 8154 catalyst is a closed tertiary amine polyurethane catalyst that primarily promotes urethane foaming urethane (polyol-isocyanate) reactions while providing delayed catalytic initiation in flexible and rigid polyurethane foaming.

Suggested Uses.

Dabco 8154 catalyst is used in polyurethane foam molding applications to provide delayed emulsion time for mold filling and closure and improved flow. Increases productivity throughout the molded foam operation.

Dabco 8154 catalyst is also used as a co-catalyst, replacing up to 25% of the existing catalyst mix to improve curing without significantly altering the pre-reaction.

Dabco 8154 Catalyst can also be used in rigid foam applications, polyurethane insulation boards, polyurethane pipe insulation, polyurethane panels, polyurethane sealants, and polyurethane waterproof coatings.

Storage and Transportation:

Please fasten the packaging cover as soon as possible after the original packaging to prevent the mixing of other substances such as moisture and other substances that may affect the product performance. Store in a cool and dry place, keep the container sealed and avoid contact with oxides. Do not inhale dust and avoid contact with skin and mucous membranes. Smoking, eating and drinking are prohibited in the workplace. After work, shower and change clothes. Store contaminated clothing separately and wash before use. Maintain good hygiene practices. The company recommends that all polyurethane catalysts be stored in a dry, cool and properly ventilated area. All storage containers must be well sealed to avoid contact with water or other affected substances, which may alter the performance of the product in use. The storage temperature is 10°C to 30°C. Lower or higher temperatures are inappropriate and should be avoided if possible.
